Two kinds of ADSs fiber optic cable are mainly popular at home and abroad.
1. Central tubular Structure
The fiber is placed in a PBT (or other suitable material) tube filled with water-resistant ointment by a certain residual length, which wraps the appropriate spinning yarn according to the required tensile strength, and then squeezes the PE (≤12kv electric field strength) or at (≤20kv electric field strength) sheath.
The central tube structure is easy to obtain small diameter, the ice wind load is small, the weight is also relatively light, but the fiber Yuchangyo limit.
2, Layer winch structure
Optical fiber pine casing with a certain pitch winding in the center reinforcement (generally FRP) on the extrusion of the inner sheath (in small tension and small span can be omitted), and then according to the required tensile strength around the appropriate spinning yarn, and then squeeze the PE or at sheath. The cable core can fill the ointment, but when the ADSs work in a large span and with a large sag, because the resistance of the ointment is small, the cable core is easy to "slide", the loose casing pitch is easy to change.
It can be overcome by fixing the loose casing on the center reinforcement piece and the dry cable core with the appropriate method, but it has certain process difficulty.
The laminated structure is easy to obtain safe fiber residual length, although the diameter and weight are relatively slightly larger, in the medium and large span application is more advantageous.
